Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going here.
Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click HERE. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.
One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".
Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.
Hello it has been a while since I have heard from you. I hope that things are well and that your fur babies are healthy and strong. Things here have been pretty good. There have been a few bumps in the road but nothing to bad. Can’t wait to here from you. Hugs, mandy
Sorry to hear about your baby and I hope things work out. Unfortunately you are gonna have to fight common sense and BS laws created by misinformed people.
The only thing I can suggest is to post the email addresses of the shelter and ask everyone to send emails in your favor. I have some form letters available for this in the Pitbull section at:

Jessica Suz sent me your story about your baby, this is an outrage noone saw the fight so who can say what happened was the lab taken also? In my city you have to have 3 bad marks against your bully before they can take them away, if he has never been in trouble with them I see it totally unfair!!! Society has done this to our dog's and alot of them get put down because of stupid people like your neighbor's, they I guess do not have a heart for animals as I can see it and if this is the first offense you should have been fined and that is it, who are they to say how your sweet baby is which it seems he is a really good baby, dog's are dog's and my bet is the lab started it and he was defending himself, one incident should not be this severe of punishment your state pardon my french has assidine rules in my book, I wish I could make this all go away for you and bring him home!!! I just got a story about 2 pits court ordered to get eunthanized for BARKING at a guy on his bike, the parents are fighting it in court but thanks to the MEDIA this is why our dogs are in the spotlight all the time and when they make a mistake they want then to pay for it with their life!!! People need to be educated on our breed made to go to classes I think!!! it is BAD OWNER'S that do things not our dog's, and your little one or you are FAR from bad!!! MY HEART breaks for you sweetie I know where you are at, cause I would fight to the death for my babies too!!! I just hope that god is with you and your family and this comes out in your favor!!! Let me start the ball rolling by telling you a little more about me. My name is Suzie See a/k/a SuzSee. When I got married, I had a girlfriend tell me that I was now like Madonna or Cher in that I could go by one single name, but it my case it would really be my complete name. SuzSee = Suzie = Suzie See. Sick humor, I know.
I am a Sr. Business Systems Analyst by trade who works from home. As a result, I tend to log on to these sites (myspace and Ning sites) way too often, but it makes me feel like I'm more connected to the outside world, and I feel like I need that some.
I have been married for almost 5 years. This is both of our 2nd marriage, and, as a result, I also now have three bonus children -- all of which are fully grown (21, 26 and 27). The 26 year old is married, and fully intends to someday make me a Grandma. Pretty cool if you ask me -- I got to skip the hard part and go directly to the fun. Okay - nuff about me. Can't wait to learn more about you!!
