Help for Shelter Animals

I am on a committee who is very concerned with the conditions of our county animal shelter and the number of murders they do every Wed. 2 weeks ago we presented the County Admin and the Bd of Supv with a proposal for a volunteer comittee that would work with the shelter to make suggestions for improvements. Robin Star CEO with the SPCA also offered to partner with the county to help turn the shelter into a no kill so that healthy animals would stop being murdered and under certain guidelines wou… Continue

Dear New Friends on PLP
I am overcome with emotion after receiving all the b/d wishes and the thoughts and prayers for Petey. I have tried to respond to all of them but I'm sure I missed someone. For those that I missed I apologize but just know that all your comments meant so much to me. Petey is about 17 and I have been expecting to lose him. My chihuahua, Petey, is having regular seizures now. He also has congenitive heart disease. I expect not to have him much longer.
