I have three birds.Sophie,age five,(African Grey), Kiki, , age four,(Amazon),Sunny, a rescue, age unknown,(SunConure).Two Maltese dogs.Ollie and Zoey.Age three and five.They all love each other, and share very well.(Thanks to Max who died at age 18, after teaching new pups to share with the birds, and love them!)

Where is your own piece of paradise?

My own piece of paradice, is to be home!After working many hours at work,(a nurse), getting home to my two boys, age 14 and 17,(who care for the gang when not home),is the BEST!We are all a family.Kids love the animals just as much as I do!Sophie loves to eat with us for dinner, Kiki loves her shower with Sean, Sunny loves anything to do with Ryan!(Usually doing computer stuff, Sunny can focus on "cleaning Ryan for the next day!"

Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.

We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going here.

Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click HERE. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.

One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".

Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.

She is so wonderful to hvae given me a second baby boy. it has been really good for Tank as well to have a playmate. We get to see the others often, but during bad weather the romps outside are limited. It is amazing how these beautiful creatures bless our lives. Coop learned quickly that when I do something good, I get a treat. So now he brings me prizes all the time, hoping for that little T-bone shaped chew. Tank has gotten wise and figured out it has to be something really good before the treat bag comes out. but you know, sometimes... it mysteriously winds up in my hands for no good reason. Coop and Tank are wonderful fur babies and we could not be happier as a family.
