Wow my first dog, I was 4 or 5 and I named him Brown...Duh, guess what color he was. But I remember him so well, the love I learned from him.
My grand father taught me to drive. And pull a 25 foot camper. LOL He thought I should know way to much. ...
I am so sorry for your loss, it is so hard to say good bye. And you'll always miss them when they are gone. I have lost so many in the past four years, never get the age group real close...LOL

- I am an animal person. Was from the start. Bringing home sick...or dead. ooops (I didn't say smartest kid on the block.) Than After I got a job at an animal clinic, my world opened up...so did my home. We work with a lot of different rescue org's so I was a sap for a lot. Luka's the only dog right now, because he takes up a lot of my time and stress triggers problems with his Pemphigus, so right now I am a only 1 dog household. Which seems VERY odd. I lost my last Eng. Bully last summer. Liver/Kidney failure. He was a happy boy. I rescued him from back yard breeder who was going to us him for the "STUD"... problem was they tied him to a dog house out back. Didn't take care of him, he was a mess when I got him. Skin problem and stink....couldn't hardly get close to him. That was Crunch. I have had 6 all together. Just love that face. LOL Well should stop or this will be a book, which I am sure no one wants to read. LOL
- Where is your own piece of paradise?
- My favorite spot in the woods, with my horses (in nice weather) Or a warm comforter, a good book and the critters all snuggled around.

Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going .
Here
Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click Here
. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.
One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".
Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.

SuzSee-PLP Creator said… - We've missed a lot of folks lately, and we just want to get that good ol' Pet Lovers Paradise joy back. If you can spare a minute, please pass a hug on to five other members of the site. It's a small gesture, but one that will go a long way to opening new friendships and, hopefully, creating more activity on the site.
Here's my attempt at creating new friendships and sharing a tidbit about me. I am going to be a Grandma soon -- actually, very soon. The baby's due date is July 4th.
