I am the mother of three very loved and spoiled bulldogs. My husband, Nathan, and I have 2 English Bulldogs (Winston-age 10 and Gracie-age 9) and a French Bulldog in November named JJ (age 5). We are very involved in animal rescue. Our Winston came to live with us as a four month old puppy from a puppy mill; Gracie came to live with us at two years old after being severely abused by multiple families; JJ, who is an AKC Champion, was a stud dog that went sterile and we adopted him. They are all very loved and happy now! They are our babies and actually sleep in the bed with us every night. We love them so much and could not imagine life without them.

Does Anyone Know Anything About Pets That Get MRSA?

We just got confirmation from the vet regarding JJ's skin test they did Friday. JJ has a MRSA infection. He has to complete 6 weeks treatment of a very powerful antibotic. (We pray it works. He's been on so many antibotics for so long & this is so stubborn that it won't go away...poor little guy). I have to keep him away from my husband & Gracie because their wounds are so vunerable. Right now I have to vaccum & wash all the bedding in the house.
