I am easy going but to the point. I love my family, nature, my pets, our two dogs, Lucy and Max. I work a lot from home so I can spend a lot of time with our dogs. They are like our kids.

Where is your own piece of paradise?

I love being at home. I can enjoy all the nature from my own property. I do like traveling some also. There are so many places to see.

My German Shepherd Max's life has changed for the better due to an awesome joint supplement from True Essentials Nutritional Products. It has been like a miracle for him and us that his mobility has improved so much. Thanks to this product Max can enjoy his later years instead of not being able to walk up stairs and be stiff as a board in pain. Our Vet said I could not find a product with this quality without her writing a custom precription for me. We are so excited I had to share this. Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going .

Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click Here
. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.

One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".

Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.

When the holidays roll around, I get a little sappy, so bear with me, but.... I just had to share some thoughts. We have been so very lucky to have had our paths cross, and I am grateful for your friendship and support. This site is what it is because of you and folks like you who keep bringing that wonderful, positive energy to our home. The reason the site continues is because of the love we all seem to pass between us. It's our own individual friendships that keeps it growing and flourishing. Thank you for gracing our pages. I'd be lost without your company.

We have a ton of great new groups, a number of weekly discussions, and two of our contests are just about ready for voting. The Member of the Month is going like crazy. Just remember that the quickest way to the top of the Leaderboard for this contest is to post comments and to invite folks to the site. It's a tight race at the top, but it's anybody's game.

We have a new birthday function on the site. If you want your picture to display on the main page when your birthday rolls around, don't forget to update your profile and set the question where it says "show age" to yes.

Last but not least, PLP is now offering items like bumper stickers, mouse pads, etc. Just check out the Member Shops for more information. Even if you're not interested in purchasing, I'd love to hear your thoughts on these items.

I once was on a business trip where the team I was visiting gave me a turtle. I drug the little guy from one city to another until I returned home. He went from all ends of Arkansas -- Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Little Rock and then back to Denver...where he eventually passed because the climate was too different. Sure did enjoy that little guy...
