Hi,
I have a 151/2 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie her name is Gidget.She is about blind and deaf but she still rules .I also have a 7 yr old Minature Aussie His name is CJ .He is na,med after my yougest son.CJ did belong to his girlfriend at the time now his wife. CJ I guess you could say he ran away fromhome.He started staying with my hubby while they were at work .Then he wouldn't go home with them.My hubby and 2 of my sons built a 1946 Taylorcraft taildragger plane.Chuck took CJ flying he loved it when they would fly anywhere people watched for him .They all loved him.I also have 4 Sugar Gliders Joey is the Daddy.His wife died 3 yrs.ago .But we have their 3 sons Boo is the oldest then twins Dale Jr and Mikey Waltrip.My computer adopted granddaughter named them guess you you can tell who her fav.NASCAR Drivers are.It went over great in my household of Ford fanatics.lol

Just wanted to offer my prayers for you. I know what it is like to lose a dog.
I lost my Rambo a month ago. He was 15 1/2 years old. He was part Chow and American Eskimo. His back end went out and could no longer get on his feet. He was in a lot of pain. He lost his hearing about a year ago.
And he had an ulcer on his eye. But he still ruled the house and did his best to maintain his watch dog status. We had to have him put down.
I and my husband was in the room when this happened. I and my husband just cried like babies. We buried him in our back yard. I put some fake flowers on his grave. I miss him so. But I know he went to a better place and that we will be reunited again.in the future. I know how you feel and that your heart is breaking. I will pray for you.
I have another dog named Bandit he is Sheltie and Shepard.
Hie is only 8 or 9 years old. Him and Rambo were very close.
After we lost Rambo. Bandit would look around the house for him and also in the back yard. He seemed so lost. He is doing better now.
I hope you get to feeling better.

Not so..a month, a yiear or years, they have left their little footprints across our hearts. Bu t our God who gives us the compassionate heart also blessed us with a magnificent brain to keep all the good memories of them. I can only say that Happiness is sometimes the result of being so busy that you have no time to be miserable. Bless you

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Gidget. It's so sad to lose an old and loved pet. I've been there before, and I wish others didn't have to suffer that fate as well. It's such a shame that we love our pets, and yet they can't grow as old as we do!
I will keep your DIL in my thoughts along with you as well--I hate that you both lost your loved ones at the same time!
