Profile Information

I'm really a cat lover, but I live at the YWCA where you can't have a cat. I have a couple beautiful bettas (Siamese fighting fish) named Gerry and Rags. I also have a volunteer job at the Humane Society where I hold, pet, and fuss over kitty cats.

And I go over to my friend's house. She's an animal lover herself and has 3 cats. Her daughter has 2 dogs who wag their tails and won't leave me alone. Whenever I lie on her couch I end up with an animal sleeping with me-usually a dog.

Despite my keeping fish as pets and having access to cats and dogs, I'd still like my own personal kitty cat.

So I applied for Section 8 with the intention of finding a landlord who will allow me to have a cat.

Where is your own piece of paradise?

It is in a large room with enough room, shelves, and drawers to hold my books and treasures so there would be less clutter. This is also a place where I'd have a kitty cat or 2 to keep me company and to sleep with me. There would be chirping birds and other small wild animals outside my window and plenty of trees, grass, and other vegetation.

My real place in Paradise is up in Heaven and I don't know what the Lord has up there except for His Love.
