Self employed dog groomer, animal lover, have 5 dogs---Montie she is my 7 year old blind female Akita, she has Auto Immune and Uvetis (which is a form of glaucoma) she started being blind at the age of 3, but she does quite well and is still my good hearing ear dog letting me know when someone is approaching the door, CC "aka" Cinnamons Cowgirl is my 3 year old red tri Toy Australian Shepherd, Cheyenne is my 2 year old Blue Heeler (she is the sister to Brenda's - Cody), Dusty is my 2 year old red merle Miniature Australian Shepherd with one blue eye and one amber he has an all white face which is a disqualification in the show ring, and now the baby is Chance he is 6 months old now, when i got him he was 2 months old and he is a blue merle Toy Australian Shepherd, given to me by a groomer friend that Brenda knows. Chance was born all white and the owners feared that he would be both deaf and blind, so they were going to put him down, both Brenda and I said no, not to put him down and I would take him. Chance does hear some but is a little bit of being hard of hearing and a really sweet baby with a great sense of humor. I have Fancy she is my 3 year old sorrel and white overo Paint mare with one blue eye and one brown. I also have competed in barrel racing winning 6 belt buckles, love country music, good movies and good books to read.

Where is your own piece of paradise?: My piece of paradise is wherever my animal family is, as they are so full of love. Hopefully one day it will be where there is alot of land for all my babies to run.

Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.

We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going here.

Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click HERE. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.

One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".

Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.
