- First thank you to Laura for inviting me to join, Laura and I met via email almost 10 years ago when we lost our angels a day apart. Daisy was 17 1/2 years old when she passed just two days before Christmas. I lost another angel Dakota almost three years ago to cancer he had just turned 7.
I have 5 dogs, Jake a golden retriever 8 , Angel 9 a sheltie, who are therapy dogs with Bright and Beautiful Therapy dogs Inc. Then there is Snowie 8 a samoyed, Ty a german shepherd who I raised for the Seeing Eye and then adopted when he did not make the program due to car issues. And last but not least there is Cassie who will be 3 in Aug.
I'm a obedience trainer, therapy dog trainer and evaluator, and AKC CGC evaluator.
- Where is your own piece of paradise?
- Coming home after a long day at work and knowing my furkids are here to keep me sane in this crazy world.

Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going here.
Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click HERE. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.
One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".
Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.

Hello Marie..Thank you so much for your care and concerns about my Aunt Valerie. All of her kids are with her now..they wanted to let her know that its okay to go now. Its only a matter of time now...could be any day. Its very difficult for the whole family..she is a wonderful woman and will be missed so much. Lots of hugs, Laura
