Please share information about you and your pets. PLP is a social network for Pet Lovers and is NOT a marketing site. If no reference to pet/pet loving is made, your account will be declined.: I love cats. Cats love me. It's a symbiotic thing. All my life I have been a cat magnet. They flock around me. Herding cats? No problem. I can do that. Teaching cats to play fetch? Done it with five different felines I've raised over the past twenty eight years. They just LOVE to fetch and return things to me. Over and over again.
Love dogs, too. Just can't keep one in my third floor apartment. Wouldn't be fair to the dog.
As it is, I put birdseed on a window-level flat roof beneath my place and enjoy the way my 6 year old Mac (a 16 pound orange tabby) engages in passive birdwatching. He loves those little winged critters! I do, too.

Where is your own piece of paradise?: Ahhhh...it's a wooded peninsula in the middle of a saltmarsh near where I live. Birds, bugs, rocks, trees, wildflowers, furry critters....all there. It's my church, actually. I go there to worship Nature and find Peace.

I asked this question of Sarah Wilson on the PBS Engage Blog titled "5 Good Questions for Animal Expert Sarah Wilson". Much to my surprise and pleasure she selected this question, out of dozens, to answer first. Enjoy and learn! (or the other way around).

1. I'm a cat magnet. Always have been. Never met one I could say "no" to. Why do so many cats choose to befriend me and frequently learn to do doggie things like fetch for me? Mari

WELL WE HAD A GOOD WEEKEND..WE GOT TO SEE COREY, STEFANIE & MOST OF ALL TURBO....LOL...MY CUTE LITTLE GRANDPUPPY. THEY CAME OVER FOR DINNER SATURDAY NIGHT & THEN WE WATCHED TURBO WHILE THEY WENT TO THE MOVIES...HE IS SO CUTE & FULL OF ENERGY...HE LOVED PEGGY THE BEST..BRANDEE PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE..BILLY D DIDN'T REALLY CARE...IGGY WASN'T SURE OF HIM ...& SPICEY...WANTED NO PART OF HIM WHAT SO EVER...LOL.. HE LOVES HIS GRANDPA & ME...WELL I WAS JEALOUS OF THAT. WE TOOK MORE PICS OF HIM IF YA WANT TO SEE HIM. THEY SAY HE PASSES GAS A LOT...HEE HEE..BUT I THINK THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE BREED. I HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY LAST WEEKEND. WENT TO EMERIL'S TCHOUP CHOP RESTURANT IN ORLANDO. WAS VERY GOOD & VERY EXSPENSIVE. OUR BEST FRIENDS PAID FOR EVERYONE. I DID GET A DIGITAL PIC FRAME, DVD'S CD'S & CLOTHES. HAD A GREAT TIME. COREY & STEFF CAME TOO. WELL THAT IS ALL FRONT THIS HOME FRONT.HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE.
