Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going .

Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click Here
. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.

One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".

Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.

I have been a lover of animals since I was little. I have had everything from igqanas to dogs, snakes to cats. At the moment I have a chug (pug chihauhau). His name is KOKO MACHINO or as we call him sometimes "lil man". He is my best friend and goes everywhere with me that is allowed. He loves to go get my capachino with me everyday ~ it is our ritual, and even sleeps with me.

Where is your own piece of paradise?

My lil bit of paradise is driving somewrhere with KOKO and also that is our time alone talking and relaxing. Or going for a walk with him greeting everyone.

For a chug he does not really bark at anyone (I thought something was wrong with him he would not bark as a baby) and is definitely a lover not a fighter.

I WANT TO RECOMMEND "HOME COOKING FOR DOGS!" BY DEB MCENERY. WHEN MY PUPPY WAS SICK AND I WAS AFRAID I WAS GOING TO LOOSE HIM, DEB MCENERY STEPPED UP, GAVE ME ADVICE FROM HER BOOK.

I HAVE COOKED A FEW OF THE RECIPES FROM THIS BOOK AND HE LOVES THEM, AND I BELIEVE THE RECIPES IN THE BOOK HAS HELPED HIM THREW THE TRYING TIME. NOW I COOK ALOT FOR HIM, INFACT MORE FOR HIM THAN ME, INFACT SOME OF RECIPES ARE DELICIOUS, I TRIED THEM MYSELF.

RECIPES FOR YOUR BEST FRIEND, EVEN HE NEEDS SOMETHING THAT WILL KEEP HIM HEALTHY AND HAPPY FOR YEARS TO COME.

You could have a recipe to share, which we would love. We are not here to patronize any commercial dog foods, we are a place for recipes that are from member to share that they have found to be benefical to their best friend.
