- Hi everyone, my name is Kellie and I am happy to be here. I have some very wonderful babies that share my life with me. I have a beautiful German Shepherd girl named Ruby who is my big protector, like that would be a suprise. I am also proud to announce that I have now a new Scottie baby named Mariah. She is the apple of my eye and I love her to bits and pieces. She reminds me so much of my beloved Maggie that it scares me sometimes.
I am co-owned by my mom's dogs, they include two Scottie girls, Holly and Katie..they are both rescue girls are a pure joy to have in our lives. We also have a big beautiful Collie named Jordan. She is a real sweet girl but very big. My boyfriend also has a sweet and very comical long haired German Shepherd named Jersey. She comes to visit us when my boyfriend comes home from North Dakota.
Recently I lost my most special Scottie..her name was Maggie. She was the love of my life and my very best friend. My heart was torn into a million pieces when she passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. I know she is with me in spirit though and that when I leave this world she will be waiting to greet me as will all my other special furkids that are there.
I have also just recently lost my beautiful Sheltie, Laci. I miss her so much but I know she is with Maggie and the other girls that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge before her. She was a really good dog and I have to say the only dog that I have ever owned that completely obeyed every command that I gave her. She was 13 years old and passed peacefully in her sleep.
Another little thing about me is that I make and sell Cotton Dog Collars. It is more of a hobby for me then anything else. I enjoy getting different collars for my dogs so I decided to learn how to make them. I used to work in a sewing factory so all that I learned is being put to good use. My collars are hand made here in my home, they are cotton and include the heavy duty plastic side release hardware, are adjustable and also have the heavy duty D ring for leashes and tags. I don't recommend them for people who tie their dogs outside or dogs that are very hard on collars or pull alot on leashes. Since they are cotton, just like our clothing they can be washed and laid flat to dry and they also do wear out. So I recommend checking them on occassions for signs of wear. The collars I make are for holidays, seasonal, some baseball teams as well as some football teams...etc...I don't make matching leashes as they are too costly to make. I have sold these collars on e-bay, at my Vet's office and also at my groomers. I have sent them all over the world, including a big order of them that went to Australia for a Scottie dog show. They were given out as prizes, I believe!?!
My other hobbies include gardening, reading, time on the computer, walking, cross country skiing (just learning that trade) snowshoeing, fishing, horseback riding, mt bike riding, cooking and of course spending all kinds of fun time with my furkids.

- I live in a very small town in Northwestern Wisconsin called Gile. It is a really nice little town and I love it here. I have been here all 42 years of my life and hope to stay here.

Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going here.
Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click HERE. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.
One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".
Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.
