Although I love all animals I currently have only birds. I have a 21 year old Yellow-Naped Amazon named Donald. I got her when she was 8 and they told me she was a boy. She laid an egg shortly after I got her so I knew that wasn't right! I have a 19 year old Peach Faced Lovebird named Dodge, and 5 cockatiels all with their own personalities - Alex, Apollo, Ash, Freckes and T.J.

Where is your own piece of paradise?

I am newly married so my piece of paradise is anywhere my new husband is!!

Been a while since I left an update on everyone's page, so I thought I would take some time and share what's been happening on PLP.
We have a really unique contest that I am hoping that people join in on. It's really not so much a contest as it is a way for us to create a calendar to share all of our pet pictures. Check it out by going .

Ning has added a lot of new features, and some things they have taken away. Let's get to the fun part first! We can now add "system wide" apps that everyone can use. I'm still trying to figure out what would be fun, but, one thing I did add is a games page. The games page can be found under the Community menu and it's the last option -- or, just click Here
. If anyone has used the apps before, and has a recommendation, just let me know.

One of the things that was removed was our ability to invite other Ning friends to our community. If you are a member of other pet sites and want to invite your friends here, just log on to www.ning.com. You will see all of the sites that you belong to by clicking on "Social Networks".

Once you are on the page where PLP displays, select "Recommend" and you can then recommend PLP to your friends from other Ning sites or to our little home. We really appreciate it when you invite other folks to join our community. We only grow by word of mouth and appreciate the support.

WELL WE HAD A GOOD WEEKEND..WE GOT TO SEE COREY, STEFANIE & MOST OF ALL TURBO....LOL...MY CUTE LITTLE GRANDPUPPY. THEY CAME OVER FOR DINNER SATURDAY NIGHT & THEN WE WATCHED TURBO WHILE THEY WENT TO THE MOVIES...HE IS SO CUTE & FULL OF ENERGY...HE LOVED PEGGY THE BEST..BRANDEE PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE..BILLY D DIDN'T REALLY CARE...IGGY WASN'T SURE OF HIM ...& SPICEY...WANTED NO PART OF HIM WHAT SO EVER...LOL.. HE LOVES HIS GRANDPA & ME...WELL I WAS JEALOUS OF THAT. WE TOOK MORE PICS OF HIM IF YA WANT TO SEE HIM. THEY SAY HE PASSES GAS A LOT...HEE HEE..BUT I THINK THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE BREED. I HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY LAST WEEKEND. WENT TO EMERIL'S TCHOUP CHOP RESTURANT IN ORLANDO. WAS VERY GOOD & VERY EXSPENSIVE. OUR BEST FRIENDS PAID FOR EVERYONE. I DID GET A DIGITAL PIC FRAME, DVD'S CD'S & CLOTHES. HAD A GREAT TIME. COREY & STEFF CAME TOO. WELL THAT IS ALL FRONT THIS HOME FRONT.HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE.

When the holidays roll around, I get a little sappy, so bear with me, but.... I just had to share some thoughts. We have been so very lucky to have had our paths cross, and I am grateful for your support of PLP. This site is what it is because of you and folks like you who keep bringing that wonderful, positive energy to our home. The reason the site continues is because of the love we all seem to pass between us. It's our own individual friendships that keeps it growing and flourishing. Thank you for gracing our pages. I'd be lost without folks like you visiting us.
