does anyone check this site just wondering. What kind of dog food is a weight loss not maintain but weight loss? Female Doxie weights 21 lbs way to heavy wants to take off about 6-7 lbs so she would weigh 14-15 lbs.

Well 3 weeks into my new eating program and I have taken off 7 lbs. Not as much as I would have liked but it is definately better than nothing. I was going to start my exercise program on Monday but I will be on the road all day Monday. My mom is having surgery on Tuesday so I am going up to help her out. My grandmother lives with her and my dad is not well right now either. It will be a challenge to stay on my "diet" but I am going to do it. The exercise I will do as much next week as I can with the schedule I will be keeping.

HEY TERRI, MY NAME IS JODI AND BELIEVE ME I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE IN YOUR SHOES, I USED TO WEIGHT 346 AS OF JUNE 18th OF 2008 AND AS RIGHT NOW I WEIGHT 223 POUNDS I HAVE HAD THE GASTRIC BYPASS, THERE WAS JUST NO OTHER WAY OUT, I HAD SLLEP APNEA, DIABETIES, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE HIGH COLESTROL (NOT SPELLED RIGHT, SORRY) BUT JUST KNOW IF THOUGHT I HAVE MET YOU I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU FOR SUPPORT, PLEASE I MEAN THIS FROM MY HEART OK.

One of the things that I have seen Ceasar Milan use to motivate dogs to walk is the smell of something good that they would like. Like a box of very arromatic treats dangled in front of them as you walk them. He says you don't have to give them the treats, just use the smell that they are motivated by to get them moving and praise them over and over again for doing what you want them to do. This might get them to go on walks with you. It's worth a try anyway.

i need help with my doxie too hes 13 and water on heart he weighs 13 lbs , he has to eat can food cause no teeth, i want keep him log as i can he on bp pills and water pills

hello, I wanted to find some cool ideas of getting the weight off of my doxie. She will not walk nor play with me. she does go outside but just sits down in front of the door and watches the other doxies while they play. I've tried giving her veggies, only letting her eat a small amount of food and I don't give her treats I had cut that out long ago. Friends say, wow she is getting bigger or is she pregant? She has been spayed 3 years I think but hasn't lost any fat just gained it all plus some. Any suggestions I will try with her thanks.
