I'm sorry for your loss, Marina. I think that pets live such short lives because they are here for us to provide us with so much wisdom. I think they pack it into those little bodies, and we have to sort it all out! And I think it's so we can share our one life with so many of the little creatures, too! :)

That is a beautiful headstone for her. I asked my vet once(when i lost my first baby Precious in 1999), why is it that our babies live such short lives. He just looked at me and said, well, would you rather they live longer than you...then there would be no one to take care of them. It made sense to me and I know what her was trying to say...it just still hurts, I know. Please know that you are in my Prayers. Hugs, Laura

One moment, one short life she was there with me, sharing food together, bed, walks, feelings, travells, tears....Why in this world are pets living such a short life?
