Congratulations PJ! That's wonderful! I also agree that children should grow up with animals. I am constantly showing my almost 4 year old nephew and 10 year old niece how to take care of and love animals. I 'share' my cat (Bagel) and my guinea pig (Lester) with them.

Congratulations! We had my grandson up on horse at 6 months. I will be showing lead line with him in 2010.

I just found out last week I am going to be a step grandma to a little girl in February.
I agree with Regina, I think all children should grow up with a puppy or kitty or even a horse. I know I have been around pets since I was born and I think they are great with children.

We have 10 dogs between the 3 families. Our dogs are great with the babies..... Sometimes too affectionate. Next is the rally for the ponies. :)

Great photo.... Every child needs a dog. I have a new grand daughter, Chesney Rae Bell. Being Gamma is the best.
