Sometimes it's not as easy as you might think to find out whether cosmetics are tested on animals or not. The other day my husband wanted to give me the latest scent by Dolce & Gabbana, which smells wonderful, but I asked him to hold on until i did some research. He is already used to my being like that, so he put up with me. It was difficult, but in the end I found out that D & G have their stuff made by proctor and gamble, which is on the forbidden list. By the way, Giorgio Armani's are also tested on animals.

What I advise everyone to do is to see who the manufacturers are to make sure you're buying cruelty free. Good luck!

I know that people's health is important, but why testing all that drugs on helpless animals? This is kind of abusing animals, and I'd stop this if I could! Even who is still testing on animals should do jail time a a big $ to pay! Stop, this, fod God's Sake, they can't tell you how much it hurts, why don't you test on yourselves?

When I got to the Drano on the list I could not believe it!Just how do they test Drano? That makes my blood boil as it probably kills the animals they test it on, shame on anyone that uses animals for testing. I read about the Chimps that are still in cages that they don't use anymore, the Humane Society is trying to rescue them. I am going to copy the lists you have and am using the no test list. I'm sending the info on to others. Thanks for the lists. Happy

I have just been researching and was horrified to find out, according to Peta, that the once cruelty-free The Body Shop, founded by the late Anita Roddick, so engaged in fighting animal testing, is on the forbidden list since it was bought by l'Oréal. The same with the brand I use, Estée lauder, which was suppsed to be cruelty free but that instead of testing themselves on animals have their stuff tested by others. disgusting!
It's worth researching more thoroughly, because you'll be surprised. Check "cruelty free cosmetics" and you'll find plenty of info.

I just got an email from Care2 about the Humane Society's mission to rescue lab chimps. They are asking for donations to help them acheive success in their cause. I thought this might be the right group of people to run that by for consideration - it's definitely going to be one of my Christmas donations this year. These poor animals need to be saved frm lives of pure misery, and I wanna help!!!
