PETA Against Pres. Obama's Fly Swatting

On the news tonight they aired a story about Pres. Obama in an interview when a fly landed on his hand and in the middle of answering the question stopped..eyed the fly..and SMACK! I could say a million and one things (that aren't nice) about PETA, but I like this site to much to be banned from it because of their ignorance. Here are just a few of the links to sites with info on their out look on Pit Bulls...which happen to be my breed of choice. I've done, and will continue to do rescue with this breed. I own 3 that are like my children! And find it very outraging that PETA thinks ALL PitBulls and PitBull mixes should be euthanized! I'm sorry, but I will FOREVER stand by the words "THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS!! ONLY BAD OWNERS!!!!"

Who do they think they are to protect flies but not pit bulls... if they really do love all animals, then well HELLO pit bulls are amazing animals. I could write a series of books about how sweet the pit bulls that come into the vet i work at are. I mean really, intact males are even sweet if they have good owners. I think you are great for working with them, because I will be honored if I ever come across one that needs saving, I try not to buy from breeders but let the animals pick me. But really they are soooo cute and loving, as long as they aren't abuesd. I agree there are no bad dogs, only people who don't understand how to care for a dog. As long as a dog is socialized as a pup, or whenever the dog is found, they will be great dogs.
