Here's an interesting "would you rather" question. I'll update this periodically and we'll see if we can't drum up some conversation. Love to hear your thoughts, and, if you'd like, feel free to post your own question for the rest of the group to ponder. We'll list three questions. Feel free to respond to all three or any one of the three. Whatever you are comfortable with doing. Hope this is fun for all and, above all, creates some laughter and/or sparks some thought. Don't forget to keep checking back to see what others thoughts are about the topics posted and to even reply to someone else's posting to keep the activity going. We're always open for suggestions on topics, so don't hesitate to submit your ideas.


Would you rather:

1) Be stranded on an island alone or with someone you hate?
2 Always lose or never play?
3 Have one wish granted today or three wishes granted in 10 years?

Good point. Hatered often results from misunderstandings. Many are already "marooned" on "Islands" with people who they hate now would be a good time to start exploring Why

1) I like using the word dislike rather then hate that in my opinion is a strong word, LOL...I think I would love to be on island with someone I dislike and figure out just why I disliked them in first place and see if there is some way to work on things to change the way I feel about them and become if possiable friends or at least be civil to each other, after all Life Is To Short...

2) I always love to play that just gives you more knowledge on the game and how it is done, to lose is ok too cause you cannot win all the time and there is always someone who knows the game better and can play better then you, but practice makes perfect right???..

3) I would have to say one wish granted today because I so want to be able to give all the homeless and shelter pets a chance at life and have a home forever, and in 10 years it may be way to late for them and others unless our world changes dramatically to all NO-KILL shelters and I do not see that happening real soon if at all, I can only pray that someday it will and hopefully with our help..

2) What do you want for your grandchildren in life???

What a great idea! Now we have 6 things to ponder. Hopefully folks will see your questions! Here are my responses:

1) If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money??? ---
I would first take care of debt owed by not only myself, but my parents, and my immediate family. This would give everyone a fresh start... Then I would fulfill a dream to have a bigger yard where I could rescue animals in need without worrying about the size of the property.

2) What do you want for your grandchildren in life???
My wants are simple ones. I want them to be healthy, safe and happy.

3) What if any lessons in life have you learned and want to pass on?????
I have had the joy of a niece telling me: "Your love inspires me to be my own person". Which basically means that she learned from me that she should believe in herself. She was strong enough and wise enough to be an individual and make her own path.

I love to watch -- just have never been good at the playing side of physical sports, but I do LOVE a good board game. LOL

these are very good questions indeed first of all I think in questiion 1 I'd have to say I would want to be with someone I hate because I'd be able to have someone to talk too the seocn question I'd say I'd always lose becuase I'd never find out if I never played & the third one I'd just have one wish & that would be for peace on Earth

1. i would like to be stranded on the island with someone i hate, because if we were there for a long time, they would become my friend, because they would go crazy because i would talk so much, they would have to talk to me, to tell my to shut up.lol

1) I would rather be stranded with someone I don't like as I can't think of anyone I hate,so in time we would become friends or at least we could learn to be respectful of each other. We could then develope interests of our own but at least there would be someone to talk with now and then. There are things on an Island that I could enjoy such as many animals to become friends with and there is always swimming, fishing, hunting for edible plants, making your own place to sleep and also gardens to make. I lived on an Island in Florida years ago as a kid and there was never a dull moment so I know there are many things that can be enjoyed living on an Island even if I were alone.

2)I would at least try playing and even if I loose so what it would still be fun. If we don't try then we would live a very dull life, we only have one life here on earth so we better make good use of it and having fun is making good use of life. My motto is if things are hard in life just sock your heels in the floor and keep on going, so if you loose try again.

3)I would take the one wish and that would be I would wish to have the one wish now and 10 wishes later as the first wish would be a guarantee of at least 10 more years and then in 10 yrs. I could wish for 3 things. 1. good health, 2. money for whatever I needed, 3. I would have to wait to see what I wanted at that time. Happy

I would rather be stranded alone. I would prefer to be alone the current person I hate is one of my housemates. Unfortunately he paid his rent, because now our landladies won't get him evicted.

I would rather not play. I'm not much for games, especially when I'm continually frustrated.

My wish would be for three more wishes granted immediately.
